Mixed hunting estate, 153 ha in Haute-Marne, Grand Est

A unified forestry and hunting estate of 153 hectares (378 acres), located in the Grand Est region near Saint-Dizier. This property benefits from a strategic location offering easy access from several major towns in the region.

The woodland comprises coppice of mixed species: oak, beech, sycamore, lime and conifers, principally spruce. The density of vegetation cover varies across the parcels, creating a mosaic of natural habitats.

The estate presents strong sporting potential with the presence of large game (wild boar, roe deer, red deer) as well as game birds (woodcock, pigeon). The terrain configuration and diversity of tree species create favourable conditions for wildlife.

Two management approaches are viable: silvicultural development through conversion to productive high forest, or the maintenance of hunting-focused management with energy wood production generating regular income.
