Mixed woodland, 8.3 ha, Jura – managed high forest

This forestry property of 8 hectares 33 ares comprises two parcels situated close to one another in the Jura département. The woodland is structured as a managed high forest (futaie jardinée), a silvicultural system enabling sustainable and continuous forest management.

The woodland consists of a mixed composition of coniferous and broadleaf species. The conifers, principally spruce and fir, dominate the stand with an estimated volume of 649 cubic metres. Broadleaves complement this composition with a volume of 166 cubic metres. These timber measurements have been recently updated following the latest silvicultural works.

The property benefits from excellent access, with a vehicular track allowing direct access to the parcels by vehicle. Regular maintenance of the woodland is carried out, and timber affected by bark beetle is currently undergoing sanitary felling to preserve the health of the stand.
