About this property
Situated on the heights of the Coudre valley, this woodland property of nearly 6 hectares (14.4 acres) in a single parcel is located in Haute-Marne, close to Rolampont and exit 7 of the A31. Access is via a forest track followed by an earth path for approximately 80 metres. The woodland is divided between a plateau (50% of the area) and a south-facing slope.
The stand comprises a mixed coppice-with-standards of varied broadleaves: oak, beech, hornbeam, ash and lime, with scattered conifers. The timber presents diameters of 15 to 45 cm, occasionally up to 50 cm, with heights of 10 to 20 metres. A parcel of approximately 0.8 hectares (2 acres), recently harvested, requires restocking estimated at €6,000.
A dry-stone wall approximately 1.50 metres in height, visible for several hundred metres, crosses the property. Built on a rocky outcrop, this structure holds historical interest and provides a refuge for local biodiversity. The woodland is situated in close proximity to a historic place of historical significance.
